2016 Kavli Summer Institute in Cognitive Neuroscience--Now Accepting Applications

The 2016 Kavli Summer Institute in Cognitive Neuroscience will be held at the University of California, Santa Barbara from June 20 through July 1.

The Institute is open to currently enrolled graduate and professional students, postdoctoral scientists, medical residents, or the equivalent. Applications will also be accepted from faculty members and research scientists whose primary area of expertise may be broadened by the topics of the Summer Institute. Applications from members of underrepresented groups and those with disabilities are encouraged. Applications are open both to U.S. citizens and to foreign and non-U.S. citizens.

This year’s topics are: Brain Circuits in Behavior and Cognition (Course Directors – Robert Knight and Josef Parvizi), and The Stressed Brain (Course Directors – Barry Giesbrecht and Maarten De Vos).

Letters of recommendation (ONLY) for completed applications will be accepted until February 15, 2016.
